Weddings are more important than just planned portraiture, we set out to document the full story of the day from the planned moments, to everything in between. When you work with us, we want to know you as a couple and as individual people so we can best showcase your connection through your photos and film. Being a part of someone’s life journey is such a honor and a role that we take very seriously. Nothing empowers us more as people and creators than to hear how our clients will cherish their takeaway memories forever.
We are a photographer and filmmaker who meet 7 years ago at a brewery in downtown Portland, OR. We immediately bonded over our passion for the outdoors and everything and anything creative and artistic. It was a natural fit, we finally found the other half to our whole and have been sharing stories together ever since. We started our journey together in the commercial landscape space, traveling all over the world and documenting our experiences along the way. We didn’t initially see ourselves in the wedding sphere, but overtime became quite passionate about what we didn’t see in wedding media - story.

We prefer to use natural light whenever possible, it forces us to think outside the box and channel our creative energy into finding new perspectives and compositions to capture the moment or emotion as it actually happened, natural ambiance and all. We observe events and moments as they are unfolding in front of us. Capturing our subjects in the most natural way enables us to simply document your day through our artistic lens.
It’s okay to not know what you’re doing. Most people have little to no experience being on the in front of the camera, and from personal experience of being other side, we get the feeling. Trust us, we’ll guide you.

We work with a limited amount of couples per year in order to invest the time and energy into building that relationship, planning the details, and providing you with your forever memories after your day is over.

There are not enough words to describe how thankful I am my husband and I found Megan and Vishnu. They were helpful throughout our entire planning process - from our engagement video to our actual wedding day, they made us feel comfortable from day one. . Our wedding video was also everything we dreamed of and more. It literally looked like a movie, I haven’t stopped receiving compliments from the day I shared it with family/friends. I wanted videography from day one but I searched long and far for the perfect team. Megan and Vishnu surpassed all expectations we had and were the best part of our wedding now that we can relive our day over and over
Megan and Vishnu are wonderful people and amazing photographers. We asked them to shoot our engagement photos in Dec 2019 and our small wedding ceremony in Dec 2020 and are in love with every photo they took for us. They made us feel so comfortable during the shoot and were so thoughtful in their framing and editing. Portraits, candids, landscape shots, all of the above turned out amazing. We received our photos earlier than expected, and it was so easy to communicate with them along the way. We had to make changes related to COVID restrictions in 2020 and Megan accommodated us in a timely and reasonable manner. Would definitely recommend them for your wedding!
Picking Megan and Vishnu was the best decision i could have made! Now that my photos are complete I can not describe the happiness and joy that I feel. They were a dream team. My wedding photos are a fairytale, capturing our love naturally! My favorite part of working with Megan and Vishnu is that they captured us so naturally.
